Friendly Panda at the San Diego Zoo

San Diego Zoo is with out a doubt one of the best zoo’s in the world. It has over 9 exhibits that feature over 3,500 amazing animals! We were there for nearly 5 hours and probably only made it to about 4 exhibits…

Don’t get me wrong, the polar bear plunge was fun, and we spent way to long looking at the giraffes. But the real reason you come to the San Diego zoo? PANDAS. Who doesn’t love pandas? The zoo is one of only four zoos that house Giant Pandas, and there are currently 3 pandas in the Panda Canyon exhibit.

The line is always long, but it’s well worth the wait.  We got extremely lucky this time and were able to get up close and personal with the panda since there wasn’t too large of a crowd– who for whatever reason was very friendly that day.

I think Yun Zi was trying to wave hello!

Barefoot in Temecula

A Sunny Day at South Coast Winery

South Coast Winery, one of our favorite stops during our Temecula wine tour, was a great spot to just lay in the grass, chill out, listen to some music, and (of course) drink more wine!

Here are a few shots Andrew snapped while we were enjoying our time in the sun.

Next time it would be great if we could actually stay at South Coast– from what we could tell, it looked like a fantastic resort and was voted best winery in California for the second year in a row!
